1. Local-First Architecture

Aegis Compare operates primarily as a local-first application. When you process data files (such as CSVs), all parsing and diffing algorithms run entirely within your local browser environment via WebAssembly (DuckDB WASM).

Your data files never leave your machine. We do not upload, process, or store your actual business data on our servers.

2. Information We Collect

• Account Data: Email address for Magic Link authentication.
• Telemetry Data: Anonymous usage statistics (e.g., file sizes processed, duration) to monitor system performance.
• Billing Information: Processed directly via Stripe. We do not store raw credit card numbers.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We only share necessary data with essential third-party service providers (like Supabase for authentication and Stripe for billing) in order to securely operate the platform.

4. Compliance

Because Aegis Compare is local-first, it inherently minimizes risk for HIPAA, SOC2, and GDPR compliance, as PII and PHI within your datasets are never transmitted to our infrastructure.
